Travel & Lodging

Let us provide you with some tips to make your travel experience the most enjoyable one.

Travel Documents

Ensure passports are valid for the duration of your stay and packed in an accessible place. Keep a copy of important documents (i.e. passports, personal identification, flight itinerary, etc.) with someone you can contact in the event of loss/theft. While these events are uncommon for our patients to experience, preventative measures are important for any international traveler.

Tickets & Itinerary

Most patients traveling by air to Baja arrive at San Diego International Airport (SAN). To confirm your clinic stay, please forward confirmed flight itinerary to the clinic as soon as possible. We’ll be more than happy to help you through any questions you may have.

Booking your Hotel

Find direct links to near by hotels. Make sure to mention Dr. Jose Antonio Calzada and Bioadvanced Medical Center when booking your stay to get a special pricing on certain rooms (restrictions apply).

Is traveling to Mexico safe?

Medical tourism is highly important in our city, so we take great care of the safety of our visitors. Our clinic is located in an area where there are a large number of medical offices, hospitals, restaurants, shopping centers, etc., which makes it a safe area and far from any event that puts your well-being at risk. You can count on the support of our staff to receive recommendations of places you want to visit that are suitable and safe for you.
